Blink Optics get right to the point. Keeping their client’s wellbeing at the heart of all they do by proudly using the latest technology in eye health. Optician and founder, Nilesh Sonej, has over 20 years of experience within the industry and attracts clients from all across the globe. His quality of care and level of expertise has gained his team a reputation to uphold and be proud of.
The Blink brand is cool and contemporary, taking a fuss-free approach to both eyecare and eyewear. With a focus on the latest innovative eye scan methods available, they are confidently leading the way in the optic industry whilst keeping a boutique feel at their London base. Opening their store in 2017, Blink wanted to arrive on the scene in style and so commissioned me to create their warm, illustrative identity.
A minimal logo fits with the brand’s straight-talking ethos, using clean lines and clear spacing to fit with the optical theme. Hand-drawn glasses add a creative touch with subtle variation, in a nod to the designer frames on sale in the Blink store. A classic monochrome colour palette ensures a simply elegant finish that keeps a professional feel that people can trust.
Alongside business cards, a branded approach to notepads, letterheads and full stationery store-needs keeps up a smart appearance from all angles. With customer interaction and quality service at the forefront of Blink’s offering, the little details that make up the store experience will make all the difference for their eagle-eyed clients.
The Blink shop is the perfect space to bring the brand to life. Leaving no detail to chance, an immersive experience is created through the shop-front styling and hand-drawn window vinyl details. Both the interior and exterior of the store are matched with on-brand Farrow & Ball paints. The carefully-crafted brand assets flow throughout, from the individual lens cloths to the all-important shopping bags.
