Making a festive wreath
In the spirit of Christmas I signed up for a wreath making workshop!
I’d attempted to make a wreath a few years back with foliage from our garden but in honesty it didn’t go too well! So when I saw that local East London florist Petal & Pot was hosting a workshop I signed up straight away.
Helen from Petal & Pot has such a beautiful studio in Walthamstow and we were greeted with festive drinks, nibbles and tunes. She taught us all the skills to make a wild wreath in the natural style of her creations.
To begin, we me made our moss ring then began to layer our foliage with berried branches, fur cones and dried fruit. It was so therapeutic!
It’s now proudly hung outside my home, awaiting Father Christmas!
