Let’s chat. A good old fashioned phone call, or maybe a coffee? If you already have a design brief that’s great, but don’t worry if not as we can work on that together. We’ll discuss objectives, deliverables, timelines and budget.
Research is key. We’ll look at the target audience, competitors and any benchmark brands. By creating mood boards and collating visual inspiration we’ll create a springboard for initial concepts and possible design directions.
Pen to paper. This is the experimenting stage, an opportunity to trial run ideas and explore various creative executions. Preliminary sketches, mock up visuals and concept development — sampling fonts, colours and graphics. It’s an iterative and collaborative approach.
It’s all in the detail. We’ll begin honing the design and testing application across the brand – from print and web to marketing and social media. I’ll recommend industry suppliers and lead with any print and packaging whilst guiding specialist materials and finishes.
Signed, sealed and delivered. I’ll work with you to ensure you have everything you need to launch your brand (or product) and let it flourish. You’ll receive a brand book that acts as a visual guide when using the identity and a toolkit collating each of the design assets from logos, fonts and graphics.
