Process
Each project is unique, so it’s not a one size fits all solution. My nimble approach keeps me flexible and enables me to explore and refine along the way.

1 Let’s chat. A good old fashioned phone call, or maybe a coffee? If you already have a design brief that’s great, but don’t worry if not as we can work on that together. We’ll discuss objectives, deliverables, timelines and budget.

2 Research is key. We’ll look at the target audience, competitors and any benchmark brands. By creating mood boards and collating visual inspiration we’ll create a springboard for initial concepts and possible design directions.

3 Pen to paper. This is the experimenting stage, an opportunity to trial run ideas and explore various creative executions. Preliminary sketches, mock up visuals and concept development — sampling fonts, colours and graphics. It’s an iterative and collaborative approach.

4 It’s all in the detail. We’ll begin honing the design and testing application across the brand – from print and web to marketing and social media. I’ll recommend industry suppliers and lead with any print and packaging whilst guiding specialist materials and finishes.

5 Signed, sealed and delivered. I’ll work with you to ensure you have everything you need to launch your brand (or product) and let it flourish. You’ll receive a brand book that acts as a visual guide when using the identity and a toolkit collating each of the design assets from logos, fonts and graphics.
